Dr. Serebryakov received a Ph.D. degree in Physical Chemistry from St. Petersburg State University in St. Petersburg , Russia, where he worked on the development of LC-MS methods for analysis of small molecules. He now works on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of heparin interference with the inflammation, coagulation and thrombogenesis pathways beyond anti-thrombin activation.
